Yoga for All Levels

Our Yoga for All Levels classes will quiet your mind while helping you to de-stress and develop strength and flexibility.  You will leave the class refreshed and renewed.  These classes are suitable for all levels of yoga experience from beginner through advanced.  

Using their own personal styles, the yoga instructors will teach you to use and combine your breath with yoga poses and postures. They incorporate multiple relaxation and self awareness techniques to promote within you a total sense of comfort and well-being. Besides helping to increase your strength, stamina and self-esteem, regular attendance at yoga classes will help you to release depression, stress and anxiety.

*Mat rental fee of $1.00 per mat per class.

Beginners Yoga
This 4 week series is perfect for those with no yoga experience, for those who are coming back to yoga, or for those or who want a more gentle yoga class. The class provides guided instruction and a foundation for any practice of yoga. By offering instruction regarding basic breath techniques, postures and relaxation, this series will help you develop your strength, confidence, balance and the ability to more with less effort. This series provides a safe, comfortable, and non-competitive environment within which to learn.

Important Information

Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes before class to settle in. New students, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to register, to meet the instructor, and to ask any questions you might have.

Wear comfortable, light, non-restrictive clothes for your comfort.

We encourage you to commit to your practice by purchasing your own personal yoga mat, blanket and other accessories. Lotus Rising has yoga mats to rent for $1.00 per mat per class. We provide blocks, straps and blankets free of charge. Our eco-friendly store carries a variety of yoga mats and accessories for sale.

Please advise the instructor of any injuries, specific health conditions or if you are pregnant, prior to the onset of class. This will allow us to assist you properly and offer necessary modifications to the poses.

It is best to practice yoga with an empty or near empty stomach. If you eat before class, we suggest that you eat lightly. No food or drink other than water in a covered bottle is allowed in the studio. The studio has bottled water for sale.
